Use this background section to understand when the tool fits, how practitioners use it, and what to consider before sharing it with clients.

Lightweight Practice

Observe records should stay brief because the skill is noticing, not lengthy analysis.

Practitioner Role

The practitioner reviews reported noticing, attention drift, and reaction patterns and may add separate coaching notes.

Limits

Observe does not label, judge, interpret, or score the client's experience.

Is Observe the same as Describe?

No. Observe focuses on noticing experience before reacting; Describe focuses on putting factual words on observed experience.

Does the tool score mindfulness?

No. It shows completion and organized reported observations only.

Can Observe be used in session?

Yes. It supports completion together in session or assignment between sessions.

What is saved from the public demo?

The Observe tool and reusable setup are saved; fictional sample practice entries are not saved as client data.
