Tool guide

Learn more about this tool

Use this background section to understand when the tool fits, how practitioners use it, and what to consider before sharing it with clients.

Exact-moment scoring

Record present only when the behavior is occurring at the scheduled moment. Activity before or after that moment does not count.

Missed prompts

Missed moments remain separate from not-present scores. The estimate divides present scores by valid scores and shows coverage of the planned schedule.

Repeat observations

Keep the schedule and context with each result. Compare later estimates descriptively when those conditions are similar.

What does the recorder score?

Whether the target behavior is occurring at the exact predetermined moment.

Does a missed prompt mean not present?

No. Missed prompts are tracked separately and do not enter the occurrence denominator.

Does this count behavior between prompts?

No. The result is a sampled estimate, not an exact count or duration.

What is saved from this page?

The reusable tool configuration is saved. In-memory scores and missed prompts stay out of client records.
