Learn more about this tool

Use this background section to understand when the tool fits, how practitioners use it, and what to consider before sharing it with clients.

When It Is Used

Use it when a client can attend inwardly to a part and report what they notice from that inner awareness.

What It Captures

The tool captures reported beliefs, feelings, needs, concerns, uncertainty markers, separation observations, specificity, and practitioner next-response notes.

Important Limits

The tool does not verify inner awareness, generate clinical prompts, diagnose part content, or automate the next intervention.

Is In-sight the same as Direct Access?

No. In-sight documents the client's inward awareness of a part; Direct Access documents practitioner contact with a part in live session.

Can uncertain or speculative reports be recorded?

Yes. The tool can mark material as speculative or unclear instead of presenting it as direct awareness.

Does the client fill this out independently?

No. In-sight is live-session support, with optional minimal shared display only.

What gets saved?

The In-sight tool itself is saved, with optional shared visibility preference if selected. Fictional demo notes are not saved as client data.
