Learn more about this tool

Use this background section to understand when the tool fits, how practitioners use it, and what to consider before sharing it with clients.

When It Is Used

Use it before vulnerable work when a protector's reluctance, reactivity, or obstruction needs respectful clarification.

What It Captures

The tool captures protector identification, feared outcome, protective function, reassurance or permission needs, escalation or bypass risk, and practitioner next-work status.

Important Limits

The tool does not generate reassurance scripts, label protector types, rate cooperation, or decide that permission has been granted.

Is this a fear-rating scale?

No. Protector Fears Inquiry captures specific protector fears and functions descriptively without numeric ratings.

Who decides whether further work can proceed?

The practitioner decides and records the next-work state; the system does not automate clinical permission.

Can unclear protector concerns be saved?

Yes. The review can preserve vague or unresolved fears and show that further work may be premature.

What is saved when I use the public demo?

Only the tool and selected capture mode are saved after account creation or login. Fictional demo content is not saved as client data.
