Use this background section to understand when the tool fits, how practitioners use it, and what to consider before sharing it with clients.

Learner Role

The learner contributes their interpretation, perceived options, and expected outcomes in a shared visual workspace with practitioner support.

Practitioner Guidance

Practitioner-supported options or corrections should remain visually distinct from learner-provided entries.

Boundary

The tool maps one social situation. It does not score behavior, diagnose, create a generic mind map, or claim one response is universally correct.

Is this completed by the practitioner alone?

No. The supported experience is shared with the learner, although the practitioner creates, facilitates, and controls final review.

Can the map show uncertainty?

Yes. Likely effects can be marked as possibilities rather than facts when they are uncertain.

Does the map judge the learner's behavior?

No. The map makes reasoning visible and connects options to likely effects without diagnostic interpretation or moral judgment.
