Tool guide

Learn more about this tool

Use this background section to understand when the tool fits, how practitioners use it, and what to consider before sharing it with clients.

What It Captures

The check captures current physical safety concerns, psychological or emotional safety concerns, and changes in safety status at the supported level of detail.

Repeat Use

Repeated checks can be shown chronologically so practitioners can see changes over time without converting them into unsupported risk scores.

Important Limits

This is a safety-status check, not a full safety plan, risk assessment, legal determination, or automated escalation workflow.

Does this tool decide whether someone is in danger?

No. It displays reported safety concerns and changes for practitioner review without automated danger classification.

Can clients report no concerns?

Yes. No concern is represented distinctly from a missing or unanswered safety area.

Does the tool include an emergency protocol?

No. Escalation steps can be documented by the practitioner only as entered; the product does not invent emergency protocols.

What is saved from the demo?

The safety check tool itself is saved. Fictional safety responses and sample history are not saved as real client data.
