MIM Task Set

The MIM Task Set is a practitioner-only standardized elicitation setup for practitioners preparing a caregiver-child observation. It helps the practitioner prepare and track a source-defined task set so the interaction context is consistent enough to support later assessment of dyadic strengths and needs.

When It Is Used

Use it before and during a MIM observation to prepare and track the standardized interaction context.

What It Captures

The tool captures task readiness and administration status, including completed, skipped, interrupted, and unknown states when supported.

Important Limitations

The task set does not generate MIM tasks, interpret caregiver-child behavior, score the dyad, or produce the full observed strengths-and-needs profile.

Does the MIM Task Set interpret the dyad's interaction?

No. It prepares and tracks the elicitation context; interpretation happens in the appropriate MIM assessment workflow.

Can I create new tasks in the demo?

No. The tool supports source-defined tasks and does not function as a generic task builder.

Do caregiver and child use the software directly?

No. The practitioner administers real-world tasks; caregiver and child do not submit product data.
