When It Is Used

Use it during individual appraisal and advisement before creating or updating an Academic & Career Plan.

Counselor And Student Roles

The counselor controls the profile and review. The student contributes perspective through shared or assigned student-facing portions when used.

Boundary With Planning

The profile identifies planning inputs and unresolved information. It does not silently convert those inputs into a final pathway.

Does this create the student’s final academic and career plan?

No. It creates a shared appraisal and advisement profile that can feed a separate Academic & Career Plan.

Can the student complete part of it?

Yes. When shared, the student can provide perspective through student-appropriate prompts and mark items unsure or skipped.

What happens if the student does not contribute?

The profile shows student perspective as missing rather than inferring it.

Can conflicting counselor and student information be resolved automatically?

No. Conflicting information is shown side by side for review rather than automatically reconciled.
