When It Is Used

Use it when therapy planning needs to focus on barriers the client recognizes as meaningful.

What It Captures

The tool captures client-perceived obstacles and the client’s indication of relative importance or salience.

Important Limitation

The system does not generate barrier categories, severity thresholds, or independent rankings.

Does the system prioritize obstacles automatically?

No. Priority or distinction must come from the client’s input; the system only displays it.

Is the prioritization method defined?

No. The product specification leaves the exact method unresolved, such as ordering, grouping, or sizing.

Can a client submit no obstacles?

Yes, only as an intentional no-obstacle state that is clearly confirmed rather than an accidental empty submission.

What gets saved?

The Rocks / Obstacles Map tool is saved. Fictional demo obstacles and priorities are not saved as real client data by default.
