Learn more about this tool

Use this background section to understand when the tool fits, how practitioners use it, and what to consider before sharing it with clients.

When It Is Used

Use it during an ongoing CPP treatment episode when contact continuity, engagement pattern, or supervision review requires a longitudinal view.

What It Shows

The log shows recorded contacts in sequence, frequency over time, date-based spacing when available, visible gaps, and incomplete entries.

Important Limitations

The tool does not generate clinical conclusions, engagement explanations, treatment effectiveness claims, or fidelity ratings from contact frequency alone.

Does the CPP Contact Log require client completion?

No. The CPP Contact Log is practitioner-only and does not require client, caregiver, or child product input.

Does the log score treatment fidelity?

No. It shows descriptive contact-process information and does not generate fidelity scores or judgments.

What happens if a contact has no date?

A contact without a date can remain in entry sequence, but it cannot support date-based interval calculations.
